Nose - Subtle toasted agave, peppercorn, eucalyptus, orange peel, brine, flower petal, and medium ethanol.
Palate - Vegetal, light citrus oil, grapefruit, white pepper, green apple, and light smoke. Finish is medium with drier smoked agave, herbal and peppercorn mix, orange bitters, vanilla bean, and medium ethanol.
Picked up this 50 mL sampler. The design is pretty immaculate for this size, maybe overboard adding to the price. I'm not the biggest fan of generic espadin mezcal. This one is fine, nothing terrible or great. It is less smoky than other espadin mezcal I've tried, which in my book is a good thing. I probably wouldn't buy a bottle, there are better options.
