Sweet in the nose, with aromas of caramelized sugar, crème brûlée, and vanilla. Sweet on the palette, too, with flavors of dark fruits, figs and raisins, and a bit of vanilla. Overall, although Touchstone isn’t as complex or rich as Covenant, and the finish doesn’t linger as long, either, it’s still a very good rum.
