Day No. 5
I was excited to discover that this one was of Japanese origin. I have been on a Japanese whiskey kick recently. Even though this has been my least favorite thus far, I still found it interesting based off the different tasting experience. The aroma gave off a pungent wood/oak essence. Almost as if my nose was against a freshly made block. There was also a hint of honey. All these transferred to the taste with floral and nutty undertones. The finish was short and semi-dry. Some warmth overall.
