I've tried quite a few dry vermouths over the past year and this one is probably my least favorite. It is cheap, but it lacks character and with other dry vermouths at the same price point, this one gets lost in the shuffle.
The nose has mineral notes and grape. It's nothing great, while the palate is sweeter than I would expect a dry vermouth to be, with green apple and lemon zest. The finish is very short and again leans sweet.
In no way is this offensive, it just doesn't offer up enough to make it worth choosing over the many other dry vermouths out there. Stick to Dolin Dry for about the same price.
