Of all the whiskeys I’ve tried, this is probably the worst I’ve tasted. They say its made from black corn, which is fine, but it’s almost as dark as Kaluha. Since all distillate is clear, and oak only leaves even a modestly dark brown, the black must be from food coloring. The first sip was harsh, but most are anyway. I was hoping the second sip would be better, but no luck. It burned harshley to the bitter end. Nothing smooth nor refined about it at all.
