Had a shot of it at Ruth Chris on my anniversary. Pleasant subtle nose. First sip straight, some heat, similar to red hots candy. I said to my wife this is a high proof. Second sip with ice boulder extinguished some of the heat. Flavors of molasses come through with a tinge of carmel, vanilla spice and nutmeg.( 2016) Now it's 2022 and I found this to be the best quality value in the whiskey world. There is always a bottle in my bar !!
