Second glass of the bottle, in a glencairn neat. On the nose, I get a lot of cinnamon, with a little bit of vanilla and a little bit of citrus. On the palate, more cinnamon and some cherry soda. It's sweet and spicy, but the spiciness in the front of my mouth conceals a little bit of harshness i get in the back of my throat (That's the only complaint to have about the Architect). The syrupy, cherry flavors combined with a little bit of oak for a long finish. I'm a big fan of French oak finished whiskey, and this doesn't disappoint at all. Rich, flavorful, sweet, spicy, and even a little savory.
