Aberlour A'bunadh batch 78

Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland

Reviewed March 27, 2025
4.75
4.75 out of 5 stars
The spirit is so woody and complex, it's a virtual madrigal dance on the taste buds and in the nose! Oakey, furniture polish, medicinal, tobacco, leather, full, briny and so much more! I never knew a Scotch could be so complicated and I could taste so much in it! This along with the stunning Bowmore Darkest Islay 15-year are my two favorite scotches of all time! Speyside being generally non-peaty, the latter being peaty--yet both aged in Sherry casks... Heaven!
