This whisky has the nose of a sherried Scotch. Rich and sweet and invitingly aromatic. Soft on the palate and then gentle spice on the finish. It’s only on the finish that you realize that it is a bourbon. The corn is not dominant and the wheat adds softness. This isn’t a traditional bourbon but its one of my favourite American whiskies of any type.
