This is a very smooth 100 proof. As smooth if not smoother than most 80 proof whiskies. Very easy to sip on neet or with a very small dash of water. Most of the flavors you’d expect to find in Irish whiskey but a bit brighter than most with added notes of citrus. It a bit pricey to be a regular but a very nice treat for a special occasion. This was given to me by a friend as a retirement gift.
