Tasted on various occasions, once buying a 0.5L bottle for 22 euros or so, and subsequently a 1L bottle for 40 euros.
Nose - Alcohol, oak-forward, with mild drier fruit, some spice and honey.
Taste - Dry oaky woodiness, with some spice, dried fruit (same as on the nose), a bit of honey and vanilla, without a very creamy / oily mouthfeel.
Finish - Short-medium, dry, slightly tannic.
I find the oaky dryness and lack of sweetness to be slightly one-dimensional, lacking depth. For example the Remy Martin VSOP (higher price) has a much more complex and approachable flavour, sharing similarities to the Braastad VSOP, but with additional sweetness and creaminess.
