Aroma is bold and strong with very dark caramel, rich and aged oak, tobacco, char, and lots of dried fruits (like prune, fig, dried apricot, and dried black cherry). Flavor isn't as complex as the aroma with burnt caramel, tannic and aged oak, and black cherry. All the complexity returns with a strong and lasting finish that includes tannic and aged oak, burnt caramel, dried black cherry with prune and fig. This is a great bottle for the price.
