Town Branch Cask Strength Single Malt
American Single Malt — Kentucky , USA

Nose: Sherry and malt.
Palate: Sherry, raisins, a little bit of tannic oak.
Finish: Sherry, raisin, borderline chocolate.
It's like a more rounded, full-bodied, Sherried Scotch. Wants to go chocolate, but stays with the raisin note that arrives behind the Sherry. Drinks well below proof in a good way. This would be fun to slip into a blind with traditional Sherry Cask Scotches.
