Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Caramel, apple, butterscotch. Palate: Cinnamon, baking spice, some oak tannins. Finish: Warm and surprisingly long for 100 proof. Splash: A vegetal and almost salty note appears. Overall: 9/10 - Having tried this recipe at full strength, this 100 proof version is almost as good. My favorite Four Roses single barrel recipe. Easy to find and not expensive for what it is.
