Tasting neat; this bourbon has a beautiful, comforting aroma of cherry, vanilla, and wood, with a spicy hit even on the nose. It's not very complex, but it's delicious: equal parts bitter orange and sweet vanilla, not cloying and with a long, warming finish. Its biggest flaw is a bit of unpleasant bitterness in the long aftertaste, but this can be over looked.
