Nose- High rye bread notes. Oak and vanilla.
Palate- initial cinnamon then bread notes. Wheat flavor. Slight cherry flavor.
Finish- lingering rye notes throughout with an oaky vanilla finish. Slight spice, but not much.
Overall- high oak notes from 10 years in the barrel. A light bodied whiskey with a depth of flavors. Some flavors are slight. A nice addition from a small local distiller that can hold its own with the big name brands.
