This is perfect Barton. 118 proof that drinks at 100. Lots of oak, caramel, vanilla, and baking spice. This sip just hangs around. Pour a dram and just let it sit for a half hour or so. My bottle continues to open up which is a fun journey. If you like other Calumet Farm age stated bottles or 1792 then seek this one out. I feel like Calumet 16 year will get you about 70% of the way to this experience. This is like 1792 Aged Twelve Years, but older and punchier. In my extensive collection, this is easily top 5. I'm very glad I rolled the dice on this one. If you order this atva bar, give it plenty of time to air out. Ordering a more common 1792 and this simultaneously and sipping on the 1792 while this gets air time would be a baller move.
