NEAT NOSE - Caramel and Oak with some orange zest PALATE - Thin mouthfeel. Rich Caramel and Oak with some candied oranges. FINISH - Medium-length finish with lingering rye spice. Even with this lingering rye spice, I wouldn’t know this was a rye if I was trying it blind. BUY? - Absolutely. I like this one slightly more than the 10 year and alot more than the 11. All three are good, but if all three are still on store shelves and you only want one, get this one. BUY AGAIN? - Yes. In fact, I’m thinking about going and getting a backup of all 3 while I still can. I won’t be surprised if this is one someone’s Top Rye’s of 2025.
