EXPERIMENTAL SERIES RELEASE - IVS MEADOWFOAM (OR) NEAT NOSE - Oak, vanilla, and caramel. Unsurprisingly, there is honey on the nose as well. Surprisingly, the honey is not overpowering. The honey compliments everything and helps round everything out. PALATE - Looking at the whiskey in the bottle, you can see alot of barrel char and remnants of honey. The mouthfeel doesn’t dissapoint. Rich and viscous mouthfeel with honey sweetened oak that clings to the tongue and sides of the mouth. The caramel is present throughout as well as the vanilla. It’s honestly surprising just how well balanced this is. FINISH - Smooth, sweet honey. Long finish. BUY? - No question. BUY AGAIN? - No question. It’s cool that they use honey from different states, bees, etc. It would be cool to compare different expressions of honey.
