NEAT
NOSE - Faint peach notes with more dominant notes of honey and vanilla
PALATE - Smooth, delicate, almost thin mouthfeel with very apparent notes of honey and vanilla. It’s somewhat fruity on the palate, but peaches don’t necesarily come to mind.
FINISH - Long finish of honey and vanilla slowly fadng away.
BUY? - If you’re a huge fan of Michter’s low proof offerings then yes. This is better than their regular shelf sour mash offering and bourbon, but it won’t rock your world or redefine what whiskey should be. Low proof whiskey? Maybe.
BUY AGAIN? - Honestly, probably not. $110 SRP is a bit much for this. I know it’s a limited release, but $80 would be much more reasonable. Don’t get me wrong, its good but not $100+ good.
