Glencairn, neat, rested 15 min Nose: Boozy, sweet vanilla, oak, faint caramel Palate: hot, sweet, oak, leather Finish: Wow! This lingers for a while. Vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate covered cherries, Charleston Chew may be the best way I can describe it. Overall: Awesome pour, by far the best “Colorado” bourbon. It drinks hot, you’ll feel the proof but gets better over time. The finish is incredible and lasts for quite some time. Affordability Rating: 4 out 5. This competes with Stagg Jr. and ECBP at $70-$90. I’d argue this is better than the couple of Stagg Jr. bottles I’ve tried. Some ECBP I do prefer though as I find them more smooth.
