2.5* Caveat Emptor!!! The first 1.75L I bought at $ 14.99 was truly incredible, smooth, slight spicy finish, slight herbal notes on the nose, absolutely the best vodka I've ever had. The second bottle 6 months later--$14.99 for 750ml to be a part of a vodka tasting, in a freezer for two days---incredibly horrible! we honestly debated about the possibility of a solvent spill in the distillery. We compared it side by side with a room temp Nickolai (bottom shelf) vodka and everyone preferred the bottom shelf. Since then, I have purchased one more (glutton for punishment) but as a home brewer, I can always use bad vodka in a spray bottle for sterilization of connections. Anyway, it was OK, some chemical off notes, but decent. Neither as fantastic as the first or the Drano of the second. Here is my quandary---a good bottle is phenomenal--5*, my 2nd was an abuse to the municipal sewer system---0*. So----2.5* YMMV!!!!
