Been years since I last had JD, since it's not possible to find in Ontario at the moment thanks to Chester Cheato. Needed a break from the mezcal while here in Mexico so thought I'd have a glass on the rocks. Sweet burnt sugar, vanilla and barrel char. Bananas Foster in a dram. It's nothing fancy but it satisfies. There's a reason this stuff sells all over the world.
