Nose is muted at first with orange peel and oak and a little astringent but when it opens up there is strong apple juice aroma. Adding water opens some pear and floral notes. Smooth caramel greets the palate followed by some spiced apple flavor, fruitiness and some peppery spice. Slight hint of dark chocolate on the back palate. Finish is chocolate and spicy. Medium Thin in the mouth, the aroma and taste both are decent but not worth the price
