Nose: Rich vanilla, buttercream frosting, cedar wood, light citrus rind Palate: Dark fruits, vanilla, Finish: Short finish, lingering notes of cherry, but the finishing casks start to reveal themselves here. A nice bourbon that has been mellowed from its finishing cask journey. You can see how that process really amps up the fruitier notes- but in a way you'd find it in wine and sherry. The spirit still retains a nice, rich vanilla that's personally pleasing to me. With a premium price point, this pour hits all the right notes so you won't be disappointed.
