NEAT
NOSE - Very sweet. Caramel, Vanilla, and Toasted Oak.
PALATE - Smooth, rich, and velvety mouthfeel. There is so much sweetness on this bourbon. I love sweet bourbon, so I may be biased. This could probably pass for a honey barrel finish. On the palate, there’s tons of caramel, honey, and vanilla.
FINISH - Toasted oak and vanilla. Medium-length finish.
BUY? - Yes!
BUY AGAIN? - Absolutely!
More distilleries need to experiment with Seguin Moreau barrels. After tasting this whiskey, I’m excited to taste more whiskies that come from barrels from that cooperage. The flavor their barrels impart is up there with Kelvin Cooperage.
