Review #342 Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Apple and caramel that together remind me of pie. Palate: Cinnamon, clove, baking spice. Finish: Long length with medium heat. Splash: A faint note of peanut appears. Overall: 8/10 - Coming back to this after a while, it seems both familiar and unique. The nose is outstanding and for 100 proof, the finish is pleasantly long. For the price ($60-65) there are otter expressions with more depth.
