Definitely get the bourbon taste but noticeably a barley spirit. Nose is of malt and overripe fruit, maybe touch of caramel or toffe scent. Initial taste is toffee some toasty barrel char and bourbon spice with hints of that barly apple flavor. Medium light viscosity. Finish starts with a short pear like fruity quality and more barley malt and a lasting hint of mint. Good whiskey. Would recommend for others but would probably buy something else for the price
