Review #78 - Whisk(e)y #55 Purchased for around 29-30 EUR in Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam. Chill-filtered - Yes Added Colour - Yes ABV - 40% Nose - Sweet, spicy cinnamon, oak, caramel, honey, vanilla, ripe red apple, caramelised dark sugar, general dried fruit. Palate - Oily front-end, really quite spicy, sweet, floral-soapy, oak, malt, caramel, vanilla, honey, nutty - hazelnut, subtle peach, milk chocolate. Finish - Medium in length, leather, cinnamon, oak, cocoa. After-taste shows raisins and dark chocolate, with celery showing up rather late. Very enjoyable whisky, bought at a more than decent price.
