This particular single barrel is bottled at 52.9% ABV. Nose is toasted marshmallow, caramel, vanilla, apple cake with a little cinnamon sugar crust. The palate comes across a lot like a 5ish-year old high rye MGP bourbon, which is to say it's pretty good, but it's also nothing special. Sweet caramel up front with a transition to apple cinnamon going into the finish. There's not any value here at SRP near $100, but this was on clearance at $50, and that seems like a not horrible value.
