What a mouth full! I took a good sip and let it roll around a little and the first thing you feel, not taste so much, but feel is the smoke. It rises into your sinuses. It comes on like a friendly Irish but as soon as you swallow you know it’s more of an angry scotch. Some people called it salt but I think it’s more like a cinnamon on steroids. Wow it burned. So I did what every whiskey lover does, I waited a minute or two and tried it again. The burn was much reduced and after the swallow all the good oak and fruit came through. I am by no means an expert but I know what I like and what I don’t like and I like this. I’m looking forward to having it again.
As a bonus, I left the empty glass next to me for a few hours and after that time I could still get a whiff of camp fire as I sat there.

Great description! Storm is on my wish list. I think I'm moving it up to the top.
Wow! Looking forward to trying this sometime!
