The first Scotch Whisky I really liked. People consider this to be part of the big three with Glendfiddich 12 and The Glenlivet 12 but for me this is on another level. It's not spectacular by any means but it is a very solid scotch whiskey and has everything I look for in a non peated scotch albeit with the volume turned down. It also happens to be the base for some very very nice scotches like Lasanta, Quinta Ruban and the sublime Nectar D'Or. Great intro to the art. Lovely. 89/100.
