Bright, in-your-face "medicinal" peat, briny seaweed, and heather honey type sweetness. Dry and acidic mid palate and throughout the lingering finish. Like licking a burnt band-aid, in the best way possible :). Best bang for your buck peat giant. I completely understand the appeal but for me the taste is a novelty to be shared with unsuspecting newcomers, wonderfully distinct but a little unrefined to truly savour. $85 in Ontario.
