One to give the inlaws. Very OTT box and the light color hints at the first sign of trouble for me. Shame I didn't notice it more at the duty free. I wanted a change really. A blend has to have a bit of peat in it for me , like the blue or grouse. This has not much of anything really, nothing to offend. The wife likes it.
Probably the quickest finishes I've ever had in any whiskey. Shocking for the dollars.

I have no idea what this is truly like, but in today's heavily caramel-colored world, you should never judge a whisky by its light color... (Ardbeg 10 for instance, pale silver green and overloaded with flavor).
As I work through the bottle I have to suspect this is what that rubbish red label tastes like. I've been ripped off.
