Nose: Sea air, vanilla, rubber, smoke, leather, iodine. A very sweet smell. Bare with me here. This smells like a breastfed baby. If you've smelled one you'll get it. Palate: Good mouthfeel, fiddle heads, sweet vanilla, very nice smoke, bubble gum. Finish: Medium length, pleasant, smoke lingers forever! The first smokey peated scotch that I flat-out enjoyed right from the get go. I prefer this over Lagavulin 16. Less smoke of course (but not my a country mile) but smoother, sweeter and creamier. Really lovely dram and a decent value even at its moderate price. My favorite whisky so far! 97/100. $99.95 cad
