very smooth and easy to drink straight, which is surprising for the price. I picked up a bottle of this when I was out of town and could not find my normal Texas whiskeys, I was not disappointed. Would be worth keeping a bottle of this on hand for evenings when you want something a little smoother and sweeter than average. Without the harsh bite that some whiskeys have, add a little chill to smooth it out even more.
