Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

I had this at my cousin's this evening. I really what Dalwhinnie does---the simple honey sweet every day dram. This adds a layer of complexity with the extra maturation. The sweet honey is now married to a fruitier side, with a tinge of smoke. In all fairness, I had this right after the Oban Distiller's, which I found far better.

I found it a bit deeper in complexity, but not enough to warrant this over the regular, unlike the other DEs like Lag, or Oban
Scott: totally agree---VFM, the regular is probably better. I found this
I found this not drastically different from DW15, though still rather good. For the money, between to two, DW15 is a better value for the dollar.
