I can't deny that this whisky is very impressive, with high quality, but I don't like it, I can't tell if it's me or the whisky that's at fault. The whisky is of a bewildering complexity, with delicate Highland flavours, peat, spices, herbs, fruit, honey and with a creamy oily coastal texture. My first impression was that of a cacophony of flavours, a cacophony that some may love to explore again and again, but one that just perplexed.
