What a luscious drink! Starting with sweet honey, chewy oak flavours, followed by a crescendo of spice, sweet chili, pepper corn and cinnamon, the whisky leading subtly to a light burn, ending with warm toasty popcorn and chocolaty, lemony rye notes.

@Slàinte Mhath You are right, Richard Paterson is a talented man. It's strange since I adore Island whisky, but I hate Jura, but I dislike Highland whisky... but Dalmore is a real treat despite being the perfect example of what I (normally) dislike. So I'm glad I tried this! My review would have been better... but my notes accidentally got deleted... :-/
