Nose - Very sweet fruity, floral, and crisp nose. Mix of green grapes, Anjou pear, Asian pear, faint hint of lychee, diluted fruity honey.
Taste - Fairly thin mouthfeel, honeyed juicy pear, white grape juice, faint white pepper like tingle, light bitterness like that from an apple seed or if you left the skin on an Asian pear.
Finish - Lingering pear sweetness, syrupy white grape juice concentrate with this lightly medicinal tone like that if you rehydrated dried longans.
Score - 86/100
Final Thoughts - This is one of Suntory's more budget level offerings. It definitely tastes like there's a higher grain whisky component as I taste little to no malt whisky influence here. It's very crisp and you can tell that it's a bit on the young side as it has a bit of a raw ethanol bite to it, but that's subdued a bit by the fruity nature of the spirit. I can see this making a very refreshing highball or a great complement to something using St. Germain. It's not too bad neat as I see it as a more fruity/crisp version of a Chivas Regal 12.
