Springbank Green 12 Year
Single Malt — Campbeltown, Scotland

Campbeltown Chronicles #4: My sample was the 13-year bottling. It's a softer version of the Burgundy cask, less herbaceous and peaty but with the same sweet/smoky/earthy profile and balance. Call it 3.5 stars.

If this was the 13 year bottling, it's a sherry finished, and completely different scotch (and imo better) :)
So sounds like this one falls just shy of your ‘buy a bottle’ threshold? I almost pulled the trigger at $105 (still might eventually). Just fyi, there’s a Distiller entry for the SB Green 13yr. Probably not worth the trouble of moving the review though. Cheers
