Damn fine drop. It retails here in NZ around the $100 USD mark a 50% mark up to the Laga 16. I opened it a few months ago and put it head to head against the 16. I like them both equally I think. The richness and sweetness of the PX adds another nice dimension. I made the mistake of bringing it along with the Ledaig 10 and Ardbeg 10 to a whiskey tasting session I was running a few weeks ago. The two 10 year olds weren't really touched. This bottle however got destroyed in next to no time. I managed to salvage a miserly 1/4 of the bottle which I am now slowly eaking out :-)
Update: Still a nice dram but the latest ones haven't hit the mark as well. Not sure if my palate or changing quality.

@Ctrexman Ah sorry I've just came out of an afternoon beersies session so thought thats what you were picking them up for!
No I meant the 16 yr for under $75 is awesome price ( but this was 3 yrs ago) I saw it tonight for over $100 cause of tariffs
@Ctrexman The distillers edition? Post this review subsequently ones have fallen a bit short. It got a 5 because at the time is was 4 ir 5. Last time was more 4.25. Still if it's the distiller edition then $75 is very good value for money. It's more like $110 here and we are cheaper than you guys generally especially after tariffs. The normal 16 you can get for under $80USD a bottle
Realize this post is 3 yrs old but Laga 16 for under $75 is a case buy prop imo
Yes definately up there. The laga 16 and talisker 10 are hard to beat at their price point which is a fair bit lower. I have 200ml bottles of the talisker 57 and de but haven't tried yet. Definately going to do so soon :-)
considering price, this is probably the best dollar for dollar value out there. have you tried the Talisker DE? Slightly different profile, but equally good. It replaces the Lag smoke with salty brine
