I was once shamed for mixing this with ginger ale by an Irishman in Amsterdam. Since then I've only asked for whiskey neat. The Irish take their whiskey seriously. Even if it is just regular old Jameson. Since then my tastes have refined and haven't touched the stuff in ages. But if I did it would be mixed with Ginger Ale. lol
