Nose: incredibly soft, almost perfume. Unique and dare I say spectacular in its subtlety. Palate: you will not find a creamier mouthfeel, perfect. Honey, Sherry. It lacks the complexity of a good Scotch but what it does it does exceptionally well. Wonderful. Finish: medium length finish with no lingering single notes. Everything passes in perfect synchronicity. This is the first whiskey that really wowed me. For some reason reminds me of playing with old toy trains with my Dad. Weird. I had a poker night with a blind whiskey tasting a few weeks back and everybody brought their favorite. At the end they all anonymously picked "number 2". A clean sweep for my Redbreast and a handful of new fans! 94/100.
