Is it bad? Nope! Is it good? Nope! It's a middle with some good marketing, which made it the most recognised brand out in the wild. I do like it. It has that smokey, sharp edge in the first two seconds I grew to fancy. For the same price you could get something much better, but it is what it is. An iconic whiskey which does deserve some appreciation. If for nothing else we have to acknowledge the role it plays in getting people into drinking whiskey.
