Caramel and butterscotch. Quite sweet. Slight rye presence comes across as herbal. Musty oak, like from the knot wood, comes through in the middle, in mostly a pleasant way. Nose has a little bit of hydrocarbon burn, but also buttered popcorn. Great whiskey for the price.
