Brown sugar, a hint of tobacco and dark candied fruit sweetness. Woody spice that briefly lights up your mouth before fading to a dry lingering finish. I can why people like it. It's smooth for a rye and it’s got great initial flavour. The dry charred finish is what holds it back for me. I prefer the classic rye style of Sazerac or Wiser's Legacy. $40 in Ontario.
