Round 2 of our Scottish Distillery sampling team, this one provided by Scott. Can't beat the price---Hard to find a 10 yr old Highlander at this price. I think a few years ago, I would've loved this. But my palette has been forever ruined by an assault on senses from the likes of Lagavulin, Laphroaig, and Ardbegs...so personally I found this bland. This would make a perfect gift for my BudLight loving cousins. Thanks for the sample Scott, and the Christmas gift idea!!

That's the sad thing about growing experience - one starts to struggle enjoying simpler malts! I had the same thought in mind when reviewing this whisky. Back in the days, this would have been a good 'daily dram'. Now, I am glad when I am through the bottle and can finally replace it with something else...
It's funny; I recall liking it and thinking it was a pleasant, light, summery single malt that was priced about right...and yet I have literally never looked at it on the shelf and wanted to buy it. I guess that says it all, eh?
Great for the scotch noob.
