This bourbon is alright on its own. An ice sphere really opens up that oaky vanilla. In all, I'd probably use it as a mixer rather than a standalone sipping bourbon.
I love the spice that you usually get in other bourbons, which comes from the rye. However, this mashbill has no rye in it; it's been completely swapped with red winter wheat. The spice is nice and I love how it's sweet, but doesn't taste a thing like banana.
