Thank goodness that this is much better than the Double Wood 12. That dram was a bit of a disappointment, but this one has promise. The nose has some nice and deep sweetness to it. Sipped it neat and I got some nice pineapple, coconut, honey, and light syrupy goodness. A couple drops of water isn't necessary, but does quell the alcohol a little, in a nice way. It's a smooth drink but with a short finish. I wish I could give it 3 and a half stars. Thanks to Dreaming of Islay for trading samples.
